horsing around in october...

Lots happening with the horses in October...
Boy turned 3...and is learning heaps!

Evangeline has been playing with Trumby...

and is getting very clever with both ponies...have a look at this...
I took Boy up to the Hills Natural Horsemanship Club...always a great day...
Boy and Will (Martine's horse) were so knackered by lunchtime that they had a little nap during the after lunch demonstrations...it was so funny...Boy was laying down for about 5 mins...even when the other horses all went of to start working!

Chief and I filmed our level one online audition for Parelli and passed our level two...so that was pretty amazing! I am very pleased with how Chief is going! If you want to see what we do go here...and see the video...

And Boy went off to Mike's to be started under saddle...

Chief and Trumby saw him off...Bella kept eating!!

We went up to visit him...
Mike says he is going fabulously and is above average! He is going to be a super horseLearning to bow and then lie down!
And be mounted...
And get used to moving with all the gear on....
He will be Evangeline's one day and I think they will get along great!
Evangeline joined in...
We will go and see him again soon!
The ponies had a bath...
Trumby rolled while tied up...have no idea how....
so he was bathed again and tied up on the pavement!
Pip has started coming over to help me with the horses...she is a very experienced horsewoman and also does Parelli so perfect! She has moved out from the UK for a few years and is missing her horses!
And I think that is about it! Lissy

so october went in a blur....

In no particular order....lol..I had a great lunch at Upper Reach winery with friends and M came too...fab food and good for kids...

The girls started swimming again! E is thrilled not to have to worry about getting water in her ears...and M is gaining confidence!

We have been enjoying some fabulous spring weather....so lots of time outside!

We had an outing to the Bindoon Show...a fab little local show perfect for the girls to have a bit of fun...We met Simona and Eden there so we could catch up...and had a great lunch at the Bindoon bakehouse that have a kitchen for the kids to play in!

And the rest of the month involved horsey stuff which I shall put in another post!  Lissy
