Today our sweet little girl is ten months old! Morganne has such a happy sunny but determined personality...but she has been sick again...another cold and off her food...and pretty clingy...the only thing she really wants to eat is grated cheese and sometimes I can feed her yoghurt...she hates to be fed and wants to do stuff herself...so she might chew on a piece of toast...She was rather gleeful when I gave up on the yoghurt the other day and gave it to her!
It is very frustrating...there is not much you can give a ten month old with 6 teeth to eat! She clamps her mouth shut like a vice and there is no way of getting any food on a spoon in unless you catch her unawares. I am trying to cut down on her milk feeds to see if she will start eating again...and stop waking so much at night! I need to send her off to baby school I think! But she is pretty good at drinking from a sipper cup now. She loves to play ball and put things in and out of her toys...and loves the music they make...so it is rather noisy around here. Evangeline was the same...I was hoping this baby would be different! I am determined to crack the sleeping thing as she is still waking 2-3 times a night and I do not want her to be a bad sleeper like E. She is crawling everywhere...and kneeling up yet but no signs much of standing as yet! This is her grizzle face....when she is whinging about something... Morganne also knows how to squawk if she wants something that Evangeline has! Here is a pic E took the other day...The girls play well together tooAnd here is my big girl...who in a few weeks will be five so after the retreat I shall be busy planning and organising for the party! Our school holidays are nearly over. E spent a couple of days with mum which was great as I was sick too. We have had more play dates, friends visiting and such since I lasted posted...and here is some pics from the Perth Royal Show. We are off to my sister in law's today for lunch to see Ben's parents...It is Spring in the Valley this weekend so it is very busy out here and there are buses and cars everywhere on our road visiting the wineries. My roses are looking fabulous now that spring is in full swing with some warmer weather due this week. And look at this azalea! And that is it for now. Ben is near Broome somewhere having been up to Darwin and now heading back to Dampier. There is not much phone reception so we don't hear from him much. We did talk today and he said I hadn't updated my blog! So I thought I should get onto it! I have sprained my ankle again but not too badly...so glad it wasn't next week when I am off to the Retreat! I haven't been doing anything creative as days have been busy with other things...and I had to write my notes for all the layouts for the Retreat! I have printed out lots of photos to take with me and must now get packing!I hope you are having a great weekend - Lissy

Hi Lissy
Great to read your blog again. Hopefully we may meet your beautiful girls this weekend. Looking forward to catching up....
Gigga
she is such a cutie, she was so good the other day I was so jealous LOL
Gosh, 10 months already!!!! Growing so fast. She's so totally cute and I just love the dress she's wearing in the top pic! E is getting so big too!!
Have a great time at the retreat Lissy!
I don't know if this is too way out there for you to try with M... but I did baby led weaning with my daughter and it worked a treat. It's a little hard to get around the concept of giving solids to a baby to feed themselves, but we didn't have any incidents. If you google the term you should be able to find some good info.
Both your girls are gorgeous Lis! Looking forward to catching up some more this weekend. I hope the ankle gets better quickly.
