horse happenings in november...

Our horsey happening in November...
Bella has learnt to put her front two feet on the pedestal...
We have been up to visit Boy...who is being started under saddle by Mike...a fabulous natural horseman...

Evangeline got to have a sit on him!

 He is so gorgeous!
 And he is going fabulously...

On our next visit he was progressing well! And being ridden out of the round yard!

And I was very excited to have my first ride on him..I hadn't been expecting it! So I wasn't appropriately attired!
He was perfect...stood patiently to be mounted, moved around calmly and was just lovely!

And Chief will now go and stand on the pedestal at liberty...that is with no halter and lead....

Evangeline has been to riding lessons...on Bubbles...

And Trumby got some TLC..
My red string and certificate arrived from Parelli...for passing my level one...I have at the same time passed my level two online (horse on lead) and have only to pass my level two freestyle (riding) to then pass my level two ..so that is the plan for the next few months...once Boy is back home...Lissy

more horsey happenings in September....

Evangeline is doing great stuff with Bella...

I work with Bella too...

Evangeline was keen to start riding again..we have started at a place at Upper Swan...she rides around with a big smile on her face...her rsing trot is going well and she has done a few strides of canter on the reliable Bubbles...

They have to saddle and untack the ponies thenselves...

And put them away...

Some nice pics of Chief...

 And Boy

And Trumby and Bella...

I took Boy to another rally at Hills Natural Horsemanship Club...all the horses ran around for a while first having an absolute ball! Looks wild but it isn't really! Here he is with Will(Martine's welsh cob)

Evangeline has been coming out taking photos of me playing with the horses too...is is me with Chief...

The  horses hanging out munching some hay under the tree while it was raining...

And having their morning excercise around the track when I have let them out in the morning..they do lots of hoons around and then settle down and eat grass! Good for the very fat ponies!

And that is it horsey wise this month! Lissy
