twenty months old and playgroup and things...

Morganne has reached twenty months...Her words are getting clearer now..."der tis" (there it is) and "si ere" (sit here) are big ones at the moment...and it always amazes me as to what she is capable of...and what she understands...and she loves to do what ever Evangeline is doing! She loves playgroup and music... a bit of painting...Action songs and singing...Fun outside with the wind chimes...Delight at "cutting" the fruit...And busy with other activities too...She makes a lot of messes and gets into lots of mischief at home but it is lovely seeing her grow and develop and learn...and to see her personality developing too...along with a few tantrums! our sunday...

Ben left for work for five weeks again today so he has only been home two weeks...but we had a lovely day yesterday...fun in our PJs...a cousin coming to play...and time with dad on the tractor...and just hanging out in the paddock...And that was about it...other than the layouts completed in the following post...Lissy

memories...

It has been a while since I have scrap booked...I started some of these pages a couple of months ago...finally finished some this weekend...mostly pretty plain but the memories are preserved...







The photos are all from April so I am no way up to date with my scrap booking...don't suppose I ever will be! Hopefully some more to share soon! Lissy

august so far....

August so far has been pretty busy! This week we had a school picnic for Montessori Children's Day...And today we went to an Echo cushion concert for 0 - 6 year olds put on by waso...It was fabulous...totally child orientated with a very charismatic conductor and musicians...Evangeline certainly enjoyed it all but it was Morganne who absolutely loved it and watched all the instruments and everything that was going on...no flash photography during concert...After the concert the musicians came out with their instruments for the kids to have a play...I shall definitely take her again...Evangeline did Jump Rope for Heart this week and started after school sport...And we have spent lots of time outside with the dogs as the weather has been great...Jazz is fabulous with the kids...Ben heads off on Monday to start his new job...And amazingly I have been doing some scrap booking and will share some layouts soon! a wonderful weekend...

Ben arrived home on Tuesday night...We made these for tea the other night....E enjoyed making them but wasn't so sure about eating them!
And we have just had a lovely weekend...the weather was gorgeous - about 20C and sunny and fine...Saturday we went to visit Ben's parents and see their new house...and went for a walk down to the marina...
Then mum came over to have dinner and stay the night...Sunday we got up, read the paper, saw an ad and so off we went to get another dog...meet Jazz...She is a two year old Weimeraner...and is just lovely...her owners are travelling too much for work and decided she needed a new home...lucky for us...Missy (our German Short haired Pointer) is the same age and they seem to love each other...Evangeline thinks she is great too!

We also had a lazy lunch and afternoon with our good friends the Gringarts...who are going overseas for 5 months in a few weeks...Evangeline will miss her best friend Eden so much...And that is about it around here - Lissy
