autumn days...

We are still having such lovely autumn weather....a couple of days got down to 20 - 22C but mostly still 28C...nights are around 10 - 12C...so pretty perfect really...not good for the garden as there has been no rain...but perfect for holidays...and today is the last day of the school holidays here...Evangeline has actually had 3 weeks...

We have had a few days with my sister and family...going to the zoo...And playing and celebrating Ike's 6th birthday on ANZAC day...And today E had a friend to play...so we went to one of the few shady parks around here by the river and fed the ducks and played a while...Morganne has discovered slides and loves them...And then we made some very yummy chocolate and zucchini cupcakes...Grandma came for tea and Evangeline helped her wash her car...and Morganne supervised...Oh and Morganne found some of my paint last night...I had to laugh really as I have been doing a few facial masks at home...but I suspect E may have been a bit of a help too....lol...And I have been trying to sort out my digital photos..a BIG job...as I have about 90 000 of them....Lissy

these past few days...

Well we are enjoying our holidays...and are busy catching up with friends and hanging out at home...E was busy washing this morning...We had a foggy morning here yesterday...I tried to picture the cobwebs...not so well...But mostly we have had warm sunny days...t shirt and shorts weather...and 30C...not bad for autumn eh! We caught up with Alli and her boys in Kings Park...And have had fun outside at home...mostly exploring And getting dirty! And so having lots of baths...and chasing the cat...Morganne is currently obsessed with the baby doll...Evangeline spent some piggy bank money on this mini paint setAnd yesterday Simona took her girls and Evangeline to see a production of Peter and the Wolf...E loved it and made a little book of the story this morning...

And my sister and boys have come for a few days...here is Evangeline and Ike...they set them selves up here telling me they were enjoying the view...lol...And trying to get some nice pics of the girls together...lol... And we have some busy days ahead with outings planned with friends and family...and Ike will be 6 on ANZAC day.....Ben has been gone a week...so four more to go...Lissy

sunset...

We are having lovely weather and lovely sunsets at the moment...autumn is so nice here in Perth...we are enjoying our holidays...Ben left on Tuesday for five weeks...always a bit of a down day so I kept busy doing some cleaning, playing with the girls and planted the vege patch...Yesterday we went to see Simona and the girls...Today Evangeline had a play day at her friend Jess' house...and I went to Ikea to get shelving for mum...then we had a lovely time outside this evening...And this is Morganne's naughty mischievous face...the look she pulls when she is about to do something a bit naughty...lol...Tomorrow we are heading to Kings Park to see Alli and her boys...I love holidays as mostly there is no rush to get the girls to bed at night and no rush in the morning to go places...and we have fun catching up with friends...Lissy

chocolate for breakfast...

Easter Sunday...Morganne enjoyed her first Easter egg hunt! Evangeline helped her and she soon got the hang of it and loved the chocolate! And of course E did too...
We had friends for breakfast...they have just moved to Perth from Canberra with their two little ones...We had bircher muesli, eggs in purgatory, bacon, sausages and pancakes! Yummy! And there is nothing quite like a cute bunny Happy Easter - Lissy

16 months...

Morganne can point to her mouth for food when she is hungry...says do for door, do and woo for dog, ba for up, dada for daddy, es for yes, sus for shoes...She will go out the doors if they are not kept properly closed…..especially the back door...She will get into the toilet or her bedroom and play with the wipes and cream so we have to keep these doors closed...She can climb up the red stool to the bench...she likes to wash her hands...she likes to join in with cooking and what we are doing in the kitchen...She can reach things on the edge of the bench or table...or will go and get the stool...She is eating more foods (croissants, toast, sandwich – butter or cream cheese or vegemite, polony, ham, grapes, banana, pasta, mashed potato, grated cheese, cheese sticks, broccoli, other fruit like peaches, nectarines plum , pear, scrambled eggs, chicken, sausage, crackers, rice cakes etc)

She is now happy to wear shoes after a very unhappy start...likes to play outside it the garden...loves the slide...loves the dirt and the cat...
She doesn't like going to bed..but loves the bath...she follows Evangeline around and copies what she does...She can walk really well now and is starting to try and run!And there is more that I cannot recall...but shall add later...our sweet little baby...growing fast but still our baby - Lissy

glorious weather

We have had such glorious weather for the last two weeks...15C at night and about 30C during the day...perfect...and lots happening around here...this is a very long post with lots of photos...

We have been busy with Ben's parents staying for about 5 days...they slept in their camper trailer on the lawn which E loved...they could have slept in the spare room but after their travels over to South Australia I think they were quite at home in the camper! The girls loved having them to stay...and we did too...
Evangeline went to hospital and had her adenoids out and grommets put into her ears...a Hospital Fairy appeared the day before...with a bottle of fairy dust...unfortunately her leg got broken...a disaster...so we had to write her a note! Luckily she replied...lol.. And E was great at the hospital...she was bored in recovery...lol...she was keen to get back to the room and see what the fairy had bought...a baby born...you wouldn't know she had had anything done...we were supposed to stay the night but ended up going home...she loved putting the monitor on the dolls foot...
We went to a small farm expo and Ben enjoyed looking at tractors...lol...Evangeline's class hosted a morning tea again after the last assembly for the term...she is the tallest in the class...they made banana cake and pumpkin scones and served tea and coffee...M loved the reading chair...
Morganne has been busy in the dirt and using this button job I made her...We made cupcakes....as always the best bit is cleaning the bowl...E has been writing on the computer...And can pretty much ride wihtout her trainer wheels...M helped me make pizza dough... and is loving eating noodles with a fork...pulls lots of faces...and looking very cute...and now mum is here for a few days having just had a cataract operation...Happy Good Friday all - Lissy
