in the post...

Well my contributions for Craft Hope are in the post...3 baby blankets and 96 handkerchiefs that I made...and I added 7 pillowcases...and put in 18 knitted booties and 4 beanies made by others...I was mighty sick of making handkerchiefs after that lot but it feels good to have made a contribution...

Our school holidays are nearly over...we have had colds and coughs and sore throats but have had a good couple of weeks anyway...and the weather has not been too bad as you can see by the clothing in the last post...not many days that we really have to rug up in winter woolies...but we have had a lot of rainy days...

Sharon came yesterday and took some photos for us...my sister, mum and the boys were here too...Morganne was very tired and grumpy and not feeling well so not many of her but some fabulous photos...here are a few of my favourites...there are lots more but probbly not that fascinating to others...lol...these are all unedited photos...
Evangeline has been to the movies and to a puppet show and had friends to play again this week...and the last few days have been spent with my sister and family...Evangeline has had two sleep overs with the boys at mum's place...we went out for lunch to Millston Gardens...the food and service were excellent...and the garden is great for the kids to play in... Morganne has been busy...it is amazing how well the little ones mimic the older ones...she even has a good pencil grip! And Ben's parents popped in for a visit...we don't see them much but the girls always enjoy their visits...And that is about it around here...school starts back on Tuesday and Ben is home in a little over a week...it is wet and dreary here today so I guess we will be inside...Lissy

one week...

School holidays are always busy and always go fast...Ben is away so will be waiting for an update...I have been able to take a photo or two...lol...so a long post ahead with probably mostly uninteresting photos...We have had lots of play days and such so far...Fun with friends making fairy gardens...Cooking...Making a tent and a picnic lunch...Colouring in...And some fun with just us at home...playing shops...Making your own snacks...Morganne loves to spend time on the wall...And Evangeline loves to climb trees...Playing lego...Making things...Watching a barbie movie in 3D..Digging in the dirt...Playing in puddles...And more fairy gardens...Racing on the ride ons...And just a few more pics...lol...My kids rather like broccoli...This one runs everywhere...And so does this one...And generally playing around outside...And catching up with old neighbours...we had 8 kids here for morning tea today...this little boy was born on Evangeline's birthday and is a month older than M...And having wagon rides...And I think that is about it for now - Lissy

a jump start on the holidays...

We had a jump start on the holidays here...we started on Wednesday...but not for any good reason...poor Evangeline has been rather sick with tonsillitis...she has spent a couple of days laying watching TV and basically doing nothing...but she is finally perking up...

The girls played a bit this afternoon in the playroom that I have been re sorting to make it easier for Morganne to play and easier for me to clean up...And Evangeline is almost back to her normal self tonight...and I got these gorgeous photos of our two scallywags...I have been busy sewing handkerchiefs for Craft Hope (see post below)...did you know that a double sheet makes about 96 of them! I have sewed half of them...so a few more to go...I want to post them off on Monday with the baby blankets I made...

Morganne has been moving this stool around to stand on...And here is our little one asleep...We have had some nice clear days again after a week or so of wet and windy weather...so we might get outside a bit this weekend...We plan on having a quiet weekend...and then into busy holiday stuff on Monday...Lissy
