Although Evangeline is learning to ride at riding lessons and has almost mastered trotting, she still has a lot to learn...and Bella is just beginning her schooling...so that neither of them gets a fright or learns bad habits, Evangeline will ride her on a lead line or lunge for the next 6 months or so...
Shauna is an experienced riding instructor so it was great for Evangeline to have a lesson on leg commands...and it meant I could take photos! It is wonderful to see the joy on E's face...
And then E and Bella had some buddy time...to me this is half the joy of a child having a pony...the caring and companionship...cuddles, plaiting her mane and learning how to care for Bella...and gaining confidence in handling her...
And while we were out in the paddock Lucas the cat walked around with us and then sat on the fence to watch!
Last night E went rollerskating again...it was a school P & F fundraiser...it is the third time she has been skating and she said she can now skate quite well...amazingly I have never seen her! And I have NO photos...shock horror! E had art again this morning and really enjoyed it...and was telling me all the things she learnt...and then Eden is coming for a sleepover tonight...so this 6 nearly 7 year old is having a fabulous weekend...
And both girls got to chat to Ben on the phone this morning...serious bed hair here...
Ben will be home in 5 days...yay...Lissy
